So my library had a massive sale of uncirculating books, software, and movies selling them all super cheap. One thing that I got a hold of was some software called "InstantStitch." What it does is take a photograph and turn it into a stitch chart. Lucky me I just had a photo my sister gave me that I want to do something with for her birthday. Seems like a good idea, right? Well the last thing I ever cross stitched was a bookmark 10 years ago. This piece is going to be just a bit larger than a sheet of paper, on 22 count canvas, and uses 27 different colors. This is super complex. Maybe I'll get it done for her birthday. In 2024. I've just started it today and have made a total of 14 stitches, got frustrated and came online. Something tells me I may not have the patients for this. *sigh* I just want to get some done. If I get far enough to make out the picture then maybe I'll be able to keep going.
